Good Morning!

How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? Mine…was wonderful. I made the trip home and spent the holiday with family. Was so very nice to recharge my “family” batter and see everyone. My niece has grown so much, and it really breaks my heart that I don’t get to watch her every day. Some sacrifices really are bittersweet.

A quick, very random, update

What’s new in your world?

Cold and snow for mine. I was just outside watering and feeding my dog, and I have a headache from the cold. Not my idea of a good time. I’m afraid to look at a thermometer.

With Or Without You

Everyone loves a little U2, right?

I heard a cover of “With Or Without You” this morning at 5:00 when I was driving back to Tioga from Minot, and obviously the name of the artist wasn’t announced that early in the morning, but I’m almost certain this is the version I heard.

November 1, 2010 – Before Photos of the Quonset Hut Renovation

Another hectic day here in North Dakota. I was up early to get continental breakfast on the table and then headed right back to bed for another couple hours of sleep. It’s so strange sleeping in a different bed, in a different house, in a different state. It’s really quiet here, which I love, but it does take a bit of getting used to again. Also, my dog isn’t able to sleep in the room with me like he does at home. I’m realizing how much I depended on him as a warning signal back home and how much I really miss having him in the room with me. Thankfully he isn’t far away, so I still feel sort of safe.
