Give the Gift of Craft for Valentines Day

Hello!

Do you celebrate Valentines Day? Do you go big with a night out, fancy dinner, roses and gift exchanging? Or do you keep it small, with a family dinner and maybe a movie watched from the coziness of your couch? We are more inclined to not do much of anything. We’ll actually be shopping for carpet this year. Yah!

I did, however, find a cute puppy stuffed animal for the boy that reminds me of our dog Penny. I couldn’t resist.

Cute puppies aside, are you aware Craftsy’s Sweetest Valentine’s Day Big Course Sale is here! Get up to 50% off all classes Thursday, 2/12 through Monday, 2/16. Have you taken a class with Craftsy? I’ve taken several and have really enjoyed them. Since we live in such a rural area, getting to take classes for quilting or photography in town just isn’t feasible, nor is it in the budget. More often than not I find myself cobbling information together to learn a skill, and sometimes I hit the mark and others I do not. With Craftsy, I’m able to learn at my own speed, and I can afford the class. Bonus – not having to drive or buy fuel in order to take a class in a town 45 miles away. Go check out the wonderful variety of classes being offered by Craftsy.

Broaden your horizons!

Anyone baking anything fantastic for Valentines day? I usually bake for the week on Saturdays, so I thought of trying something new, such as Barefoot Contessa’s recipe for Profiteroles or Balsamic Strawberry Tiramisu from The Seaside Baker.

Enjoy!
