#Mamawayus Ring Sling – Baby Carrier – Review

I was given the opportunity to review the #Mamawayus Ring Sling Baby Carrier.

I choose the blue and white stripped carrier with the little red anchors. So cute! The fabric feels sturdy and the rings are smooth and strong. I had my husband pull on the rings to see if there would be any noticeable or audible signs of breakdown and we heard nothing and saw no cracks. This was one of my main concerns in regards to trying a ring sling because I was afraid either the ring or the fabric would fail. The fabric is not so thick it will be overly warm, but not so thin that it will tear easily upon repeated use.

I can comfortably carry my 22+ lb 11-month-old for an hour with no strain on my back or shoulder. The added bonus of not having to continually reposition him or hold him with my right arm is wonderful and allows me to get things done and him to be close and see what’s going on. It’s a win-win in my book. When I received the product, there were no usage guidelines on the packaging, which was a little disappointing. I had never used a ring sling, and so I needed a bit of help in putting it on. I also wasn’t certain of the safest way to carry my kiddo. Since then, the company has created several video’s as well as updated their blog. You can find their YouTube channel here, and their blog here. Both sites were very helpful in obtaining the information I needed to be able to comfortably use this product.

All-in-all, I’m very pleased with this carrier. If you are interested in purchasing this carrier, you can find it on Amazon.

I received this complimentary product in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.
